Our festival host, singer, and actor Kristian Johan is from Fredvang in Lofoten, Nordland. From an early age he was allowed to express himself creatively and his path has, in a way, paved itself. In both his bachelor’s and master’s theses, he explored the health benefits of doing music and theatre, as well as using one’s own identity as creative stimuli in creative processes.
After graduating, he has participated in performances like Petter, Så Som i Himmelen and Ronja Røverdatter at Nordland Teater and The sound of Music, Reisen til Julestjernen and Chess at Folketeateret.
