Yegor Shevtsov is a distinguished pianist based in Bodø, Norway, and a key member of the Arctic Philharmonic. Yegor is a celebrated pianist renowned for his distinctive interpretations of both classical and contemporary repertoire. He enjoys a dynamic career as a soloist, chamber musician, recording artist, and educator. Praised for his “Mozartean elegance” and “superb musicianship” (The New York Times, The Miami Herald), he has performed at venues such as Symphony Space (New York), Tokyo Bunka Kaikan (Japan), and the National Theater in Taipei. His critically acclaimed recording of Debussy and Boulez piano works was named one of the top classical albums of 2013.
