Soetkin Baptist is a Belgian mezzo-soprano renowned for her versatility and passion for storytelling through music. Trained in violin, piano, and voice, she graduated with honors in vocal performance from the Lemmens Institute in Leuven. Soetkin’s diverse career spans projects in classical, folk, and world music, as well as theater productions. She has performed with notable ensembles like Ratas del Viejo Mundo, VocalArt, and Graindelavoix and collaborated on innovative works blending Nordic and Celtic traditions.
Now based in Norway, Soetkin continues to captivate audiences and she frequently appears as a soloist in festivals and productions across Scandinavia and Europe, showcasing her love for deeply expressive and authentic music.
